Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity has launched a new five-year strategy to ensure they are spending money where it is needed most in order to improve survival rates and quality of life for children with rare and complex diseases, Dr Kiki Syrad, Deputy Director, Grants & Information at the charity told AMRC.
Breast Cancer Now has launched a new initiative – the Breast Cancer Now Catalyst Programme – which is inviting leading researchers and pharmaceutical companies to pool resources in order to target unmet patient need and to achieve the goal of stopping women dying of breast cancer by 2050.
